Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Mastery Pathways website and continuing education platform (“Service”), operated by Mastery Pathways (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The service

Mastery Pathways provides online continuing education courses for physical therapists and physical therapist assistants licensed in the state of Alabama. Course content is intended to meet Alabama Board of Physical Therapy continuing education requirements. It is your responsibility to verify course applicability to your individual license.

2. Accounts

To access paid content, you must create an account with accurate, current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the interval you selected (monthly or annually) until cancelled. Prices are stated at checkout and may change with at least 30 days’ notice before your next renewal. You can cancel at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

4. Refunds

Our refund policy is described separately. See our Refund Policy for full details. In short: first 30 days are fully refundable on written request.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials or let another person use your account
• Copy, redistribute, or republish course content outside your personal use
• Attempt to circumvent platform security or access controls
• Use the Service to violate any law or regulation
• Submit false or misleading information to generate certificates

6. Intellectual property

All course content, video, audio, text, graphics, and software on the Service are the property of Mastery Pathways or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access content for personal, non-commercial continuing education.

7. Continuing education disclaimer

Course content is designed to meet Alabama Board of Physical Therapy CE requirements as of the date of publication. Board rules change. You are responsible for confirming current CE requirements with the Alabama Board of Physical Therapy before relying on Mastery Pathways courses to satisfy renewal.

8. Clinical disclaimer

Courses are educational in nature and are not a substitute for clinical judgment. Mastery Pathways and its instructors are not responsible for clinical decisions made based on course content. Apply all techniques and recommendations in accordance with your scope of practice and patient-specific clinical reasoning.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mastery Pathways is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription. Upon termination, your access to paid content ends; previously downloaded certificates remain yours.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Alabama.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be emailed to active subscribers at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
